As part of Tennant Company, we recently released our 2025 (FY 2024) Sustainability Report, which marks the continuation of the work on our sustainability framework Thriving People. Healthy Planet.
Our Thriving People. Healthy Planet. framework provides a lens through which we can set goals, align plans, and integrate sustainability across our business to create shared value for our business, our customers, and society.
The framework is centered on two pillars: Thriving People and Healthy Planet. This includes six impact areas where we know we can create change: employee success, social impact, shared spaces, climate & energy, water & chemical use, and circular products & waste.
All that because our business cannot be successful without a healthy planet and thriving people.
We’re proud of the work we’re doing to embed sustainability across our plants, operations, and products and significant progress against our goals and ambitions.
2024 Sustainability Highlights:
- 🤝Expanded our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to provide meaningful connections amongst our employees and foster an inclusive work environment
- 💸 Invested $2 million in our communities through the Tennant Foundation and corporate giving
- 🧹 Enabled the cleaning of 817.55 billion square meters of shared spaces in partnership with our customers
- 🌞 Sourced 92% of our global electricity from renewable sources
- 📉 Continued to reduce the emissions from the use of our products
- 🥉 Achieved a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis for our sustainability performance
In addition to these highlights, we’re proud to have been named on TIME and Statista’s list of the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth and were named on Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies.
